Monday, Dec. 3, 3:30 – 5:30pm in the Town Building (enter through the Large Hearing Room). Brought to you by the Wayland Council on Aging, this beloved inter-generational tradition invites children in grades K-5 to shop for family and friends with the help of teenage “elves” while their adults wait nearby. Volunteers are standing by to wrap and label gifts, so children leave with hand-selected gifts ready to give at the holidays. All items are priced with a child’s allowance in mind. Wayland seniors help to make and prepare gifts, and manage the sales and wrapping tables along with some other special guests. Teenagers who’d like to volunteer (and earn Community Service hours), please call 508-358-2990 or email agordon@wayland.ma.us. Please join us!
