First Parish of Wayland Presents Handel’s Messiah Dec. 16

One of the holiday season’s most popular and grandest classical works, Handel’s Messiah, will be performed on Dec. 16 (10 a.m.) at a special performance at First Parish in Wayland. The historic 1815 Meeting House is located at 225 Boston Post Rd. The public is warmly welcomed.

First Parish Choir and its soloists will be joined by a 13-piece chamber orchestra and Boston Conservatory at Berklee soloists mezzo soprano Michaela Wolz and bass-baritone John Bitsas, under the baton of Music Director Pauline Oliver. The Hallelujah chorus that completes the piece is open to all who wish to sing along, with full instrumental backing.

Parking is available in our modest parking lot, at Wayland Town Hall, and on Winthrop St., just 75 yards south of the church on Route 27.
