Kyle Chen closed his eyes and slowly swayed his head and torso as his fingers smoothly moved across the keys of the shiny, black Steinway piano. He was in a zone, and he likes it that way. Chen, a 17-year-old junior at Wayland High School, plays for the love of music, not to win competitions. But he’s won a lot of them lately.
