Tri-M Benefit Concert, March 28 at WHS

Wayland Chapter 6693 of the National Tri-M Honor Society is running a benefit concert for the Creative Arts Parents Association (CAPA). The concert will feature local guest artists Michael Leonard (Saxophone), Rebecca Leonard (Clarinet), Elizabeth Markey (Harp), James Markey (Trombone), Cynthia Meyers (Flute/Piccolo), Kevin Murphy (Piano), and Jody Pongratz (Piano), who will be collaborating with Tri-M members. Wayland High School honor ensembles, including the Honors Sinfonia, Honors Concert Chorale, Honors Wind Ensemble, and Honors Jazz Ensemble, will also be performing at the benefit concert. In addition, artwork created by students from the Wayland National Art Honor Society will be on display for all to enjoy.

The CAPA Benefit Concert and Art Gala will occur on Thursday, March 28 at 7pm in the Wayland High School Theater. The suggested donation is $10 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens.
