Metrowest Daily News 3/19/19: Wayland panel split on turf field permit. Plans for a $3.7 million artificial turf field at the Loker Conservation and Recreation Area have hit a snag which could kill the project, according to Town Administrator Louise Miller. Last week, the Conservation Commission deadlocked, 2-2, on the town’s request for a permit to build the field. The panel also deadlocked on an Order of Conditions pertaining to the state Wetlands Protection Act.
