Registration for the school district’s before-and-after-school programs, BASE, for the 2019-20 academic year will open Friday, April 26, at 8:00 am and close Tuesday, April 30, at 11:59 pm. This registration period is for families interested in enrolling in BASE for the first time and for families with children entering kindergarten in the fall of 2019.Families registering during this period will be completing a form indicating “intention to enroll.” Wayland School Community Programs will send confirmations or wait list notifications in mid-May so families will know if a spot is available or if the child’s name has been placed on a wait list. Registering does not guarantee BASE enrollment since total enrollment at individual sites must be considered.
Currently enrolled BASE families and those who have been on the wait list may sign up at this time as well if they missed the earlier registration period.
BASE programs are offered in the three elementary schools, K – 5 before-school and K – 3 after-school, and at Wayland Middle School, Grades 6, 7, and 8 before-school and Grades 4 – 8 after-school.
