Wailin’ Wednesdays at Wayland Town Center this summer

The businesses of the Wayland Town Center along with National Development are proud to once again present Wailin’ Wednesdays, a family-friendly summer concert series which kicks off on Wednesday, June 19th from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Wayland Town Center East Green. The events are all free and open to the public.

The concert series will feature live music, a variety of activities including balloon and air brush tattoo artists, giveaways, and tasty food samplings courtesy of the Wayland Town Center businesses. David Larson, owner of Joint Ventures Physical Therapy and Fitness, has taken the lead on event planning and is coordinating with all of the Town Center businesses to create fun, family-friendly activities at each event with food and games for all.

“It’s becoming a tradition to bring live music from local musicians to the Wayland Town Center for people to enjoy on a summer night. We’re excited about this year’s concert lineup and look forward to a large community gathering on the East Green” said Larson.

The 2019 lineup includes:

  • Wednesday, June 19 – Low Priority. Boston-based rock cover band playing all of the rock songs you know and songs that make you want to dance.
  • Wednesday, August 28 – The Missy Maxfield Project.  A five-member cover band based in MetroWest featuring music ranging from the 60s to present.

Join the fun on the grass of the Wayland Town Center East Green just outside of Sperry’s. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and relax and enjoy an evening outside with your friends and family. Don’t miss this music-filled summer night of fun!
