Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable

Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization of men and women incorporated in 1999. The goal of the Roundtable is to raise awareness about the issue of domestic violence through community education and networking and to improve the coordination between public and private services for victims and families touched by domestic violence.

State of the Town Public Forum To Be Held December 10

Wayland’s first State of the Town public forum will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 7-9pm in the Large Hearing Room at the Town Building.

The event, sponsored and moderated by Wayland Weekly Buzz, will be a chance for residents to hear from: Cherry Karlson, chair of the Board of Selectmen; Jeanne Downs, chair of the School Committee; Town Administrator Louise Miller; and School Superintendent Arthur Unobskey, as they review 2019 and ahead to 2020. Their reports will include the present status of the town and the schools; as well as our financial health today and the outlook for the coming year. A Question and Answer period will follow the presentations.

Please plan on attending. For those who are unable to do so, the event will be streamed live on WayCAM, the town’s Public Access Media Center at , and will also be available online at starting Sunday, December 15.
