The Wayland Cultural Council is hosting a reception to celebrate these award recipients on Monday, March 16th at 6 p.m. in the Wayland Town Building. In turn, LCCs each year award grants through an application process, funding community-based projects in the arts, sciences, and humanities. The LCC Program is the largest grassroots cultural funding network in the nation.

Members of the council are appointed by the Board of Selectman and currently include Wayland residents Rachel Sideman-Kurtz, Sean Ahern, Rebecca  Ahmed, Adam Gutbezahl, Barbara Holtz, Zoe Hughes, Richard Lee, Louise Reck, Brenda Ross, Jon Saxton, Kathy Trogolo, and Susan Warren.
