Wayland World’s Fair, Saturday, March 28, 1-3pm at Loker School. The World’s Fair is coming back again this year to celebrate the diversity in our town! It is an exciting day to experience different cultures as they are presented through delicious food tastings, fun crafts/games, music and more!
Organizers are seeking families interested in sharing their culture (or one they are interested in) in the form of a “culture booth” or smaller “tasting station.” Families are encouraged to work together and include their children in this fun and educational event! Tickets are $8/person or $20/family, and will be available at the door. Proceeds benefit the Wayland PTO. Join us to celebrate Wayland’s cultural diversity! The World’s Fair is an opportunity for Wayland families and friends to share culture, food and traditions, with booths featuring posters and maps explaining important facts, history and geography, crafts and artwork and a small taste of popular food. Parent and student volunteers join together to create experiences for World’s Fair visitors to promote community and share cultures.
