Free Screening of “Harriet” at First Parish in Wayland, February 15

In honor of Black History Month, join us at First Parish in Wayland (225 Boston Post Rd.) for a free screening of “Harriet” on February 15 at 7pm. The film is based on the life of Harriet Tubman, the iconic freedom fighter. “Harriet” tells the extraordinary tale of Tubman’s escape from slavery and her transformation into one of America’s greatest heroes. Her courage, ingenuity, and tenacity freed hundreds of slaves and changed the course of history. Everyone is welcome. Popcorn will be provided!
