Wayland Patch 2/13/20: State OKs $1.2 Million For Loker School Roof Replacement. The Massachusetts School Building Authority on Thursday approved a $1.2 million grant for the town of Wayland to help fix the roof at Loker Elementary School. The Loker School roof is leaking and in need of a full replacement. The total cost of the project will be about $4.3 million, and Wayland residents will likely vote on a debt exclusion for the project on the March ballot and at the spring 2020 Town Meeting.
