ADULT SERVICES

  • Reopening, Step 1: Curbside Pickup. We can’t open our doors to the public yet, but we’re filling holds and putting items outside our parking lot door for pickup.  You can place your hold through our catalog or by calling us 9am-1pm.  You can only reserve items that are currently on our shelves; there’s still no delivery between Minuteman libraries.  Once we’ve filled your hold, we’ll call you with the choice of picking it up between 10-11, 11-12, or 12-1.  If you can’t pick it up that day, you’ll have another chance.  You can reserve a maximum of 10 items on your card per pickup.

You MUST have an appointment to get your items.  There will be no service at the door, no physical interaction with a librarian.  Of course, we know you’ll practice safe social distancing if you arrive at the same time as another patron.  Unfortunately, we still can’t accept returns, but we expect to do so later in the summer.

We appreciate your support and patience as we navigate what is uncharted territory for all of us, and we look forward to finally being able to serve you again in person, even in this restricted fashion.

This talk will focus on our local species, their current status, and the factors that are affecting population changes. Ornithologist Elissa Landre is the Director of Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary, a part of Mass Audubon.  Sign up to receive the Zoom info by clicking on Events on our website and scrolling down to the listing for this event.  Wednesday, June 17 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Delivery for the Homebound Resumes. If you’ve been part of our homebound delivery service in the past, or are now restricted to your home by more than the threat of COVID-19, our stalwart volunteer is ready to get back on the road for us, starting June 1.  Call us at (508) 358-2311 between 9 and noon with your requests (limited to what’s currently on our shelves) and be sure to specify that you need this service.  You’ll have your hold within a few days.
