Vokes Theatre, Wayland to hold drive-thru food drive Saturday June 27 11 AM-1 PM
The Wayland community has a growing demand of food insecurity during the Covid-19 crisis, and the Parmenter Food Pantry in Wayland provides support to those in need. Vokes Players will be supporting the Parmenter Food Pantry by holding a “Drive Thru” Food Drive. On Saturday, June 27, 11am-1pm the Vokes Players will hold the food drive in the Vokes Theatre parking lot located at 97 Boston Post Rd, Route 20, Wayland. Donors should place bagged donations, in their vehicle’s trunk or back seat in advance of arriving. When the donor drives into the parking lot, gloved and masked volunteers will remove the items from the car. Donors are asked to please follow these instructions for donations, so a safe environment can be maintained for all. For donations, please bring ONLY the requested items that Parmenter needs: Hot/cold cereal, Pasta, Pasta sauce in plastic jars, Peanut butter, Jelly, Canned fruit or vegetables, Tissues, Toilet Paper, Apple juice or canned chicken or tuna. By joining together for this great cause, Vokes Theatre is hoping to positively impact the Wayland community during this challenging time. Thank you for your support.
