The Wayland Firefighters Association is pleased to announce that Santa will be joining us for his 57th Santa’s Ride on December 20th, 21st, and 22nd. Due to the Pandemic, we are implementing some changes to this year’s ride to help ensure the health and safety of Santa and all of you. Instead of making scheduled stops, Santa will drive throughout town and wave to people from the fire engine. We will be departing from Fire Headquarters at 5:00 pm each night. A detailed route for each of the three nights follows below. We ask that you please avoid congregating in groups, maintain appropriate social distancing, and wear masks. For those who do not live on the route we ask that you please find safe places to park along the route that do not impede the flow of traffic, including Santa’s sleigh. Please note that since Santa will not be making stops, he may be in your neighborhood earlier than usual.
There is a special drop box located outside the Millbrook Road entrance to the Public Safety Building where people can drop letters for Santa that will be delivered directly to the North Pole.
