Nomination papers for spring Town Elections available starting January 5

Nomination papers for the May 11, 2021 election will be available through the Office of the Town Clerk beginning January 5, 2021.  Please contact the office at (508) 358-3630 to schedule a time to pick up papers.  The number of signatures of registered voters is (50) fifty, but we strongly encourage securing more in case some are not able to be certified.

Once the signatures are gathered, candidates need to submit the nomination papers to the Town Clerk/Board of Registrars for certification.  If the required number of signatures is certified, the candidate will appear on the ballot. The deadline is March 23, 2021.

Please note, no candidate for a town office is to be given more blank nomination papers than will contain five times the number of signatures required to be nominated.
