Wayland Patch 3/13/21: Man Injured Falling From Tree In Wayland. A man in his 40s fell out of a tree and suffered serious injuries, Wayland fire officials said. Fire Chief Neil McPherson said the fall happened around 1:45 p.m., Saturday. He said the man was in the tree working at a house when he fell 15 feet and landed in an embankment.
