The Wayland Council on Aging is collecting donations of yarn and knitting needles for our “Knit Together” knitting group, which is making children’s hats, mittens, scarves and other items to donate to children in need. Our knitted items will go to The Knitting Connection in Medford, which gives knitwear to shelters and agencies that work with families in need. A marked bin for donations is located inside the front entrance of the Town Building. Thank you for helping us help others!
