The Town of Wayland’s Racial Justice Advisory Committee looks forward to hosting the second event of its “Community Conversations” series on Sunday, May 2 nd from 4:00pm to 6:00 pm. In celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we will be hosting a virtual discussion with lifelong human rights advocate and educator, Margie Yamamoto, as she shares her experience as a survivor of a Japanese internment camp during World War II and her family’s life in the United States.
