Wayland Town Crier 4/30/21: Wayland looking at short-term and long-term solutions to PFAS in water. Wayland is considering providing rebates on water bills in lieu of bottled water in light of the discovery of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in the town’s water supply, as the cost of having staff distribute bottled water at the Transfer Station and Public Safety Building amounts to as much as $25,000 per week.
