Wayland Town Crier 6/9/2021: Moving story about fallen WWII veterans from Wayland on Memorial Day. After two days of rain over Memorial Day weekend, the rain stopped suddenly on Monday morning and Wayland’s Memorial Day ceremony took place under cloudy skies. The parade was canceled for a second year in a row due to the pandemic. However, the inspiring and moving program at Lakeview Cemetery more than made up for the traditional march.
