Playful Engineers teaching artist Jay Mankita will present a workshop in which participants will have a chance to design, build, test, and play with Rube Goldberg “Machines”, and other chain reactions. Children will have the opportunity to build exploding popsicle stick snakes, ping pong ball direction changers, flying fantasticators, mini zip-lines, whiffle-whackers, and more! There will be plenty of opportunities for making connections between goofy play, and serious science. For ages 5 and up.
