The ABCs of CBD and THC @ Council on Aging

Medical marijuana and related products are becoming mainstream. Marijuana use is legal in Massachusetts, and CBD, a product of hemp plants, is legal at the federal level. CBD is increasingly used for pain and a range of other physical and behavioral conditions. Dr. Uma Dhanabalan, a physician and educator, will present an overview of the cannabis plant and its products; benefits and risks; control and regulations; and the buying process. Join us for this informative evening, and bring your questions for the Q&A period following the presentation. Please call us at 508-358-2990 to reserve a spot. (Need a ride? Let us know. And please note: The COA does not have a position on the medical use of cannabis.)
