Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable

Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization of men and women incorporated in 1999. The goal of the Roundtable is to raise awareness about the issue of domestic violence through community education and networking and to improve the coordination between public and private services for victims and families touched by domestic violence.

Join us for a special 3-rehearsal “Holiday Edition” session of the Wayland Ukulele Club!

The Wayland Ukulele Club is for any adult (ages 16+) who wants to have fun with music. All skill levels are welcome. In a welcoming, supportive environment we’ll learn and play non-denominational holiday tunes and perform them around town at venue(s) to be determined!

Schedule: 

  • Tue Nov 19, 7:30-8:30pm Practice – Raytheon Room
  • Mon Nov 25, 7:30-8:30pm Practice – Raytheon Room
  • Tue Nov 26 – PERFORMANCE at High School Before A Capella Concert
  • Wed Dec 4 7:30 – Practice, Raytheon Room (Note this will be a Wednesday night, not Tuesday)
  • Sun, Dec 15 1pm – 6pm: PERFORMANCES ALL AROUND TOWN

BYOU & MS – Bring your own Ukulele and Music Stand!

Wayland Library has 4 ukes available to borrow for 3 weeks at a time, but we can’t guarantee their availability. If ours are checked out, other local libraries lending ukuleles include Framingham, Weston and Wellesley.

ABOUT MARK & ZOE:

Mark and Zoe Hughes are a father and daughter who live in Wayland. They believe that music is fun, that perfection is the enemy, and that ukuleles are an awesome way to bring all kinds of different people together for a great time.
